                 Special Sticky Rice Tasted by Jinxiang People

In the Chinese lunar calendar, there are the Spring Equinox, the Autumnal Equinox, the Beginning of Spring, the Beginning of Summer, the Beginning of Autumn and the Beginning of Winter. In the southern part of China, traditionally at the Beginning of Summer, people tend to cook a kind of special sticky rice with mustard leaves, bamboo shoots, hams and broad beans. It is said that people can expel the wind, relieve internal heat and drive away mosquitoes without summer fever if they eat this special sticky rice. The cook in Jinxiang Bearing also made this special sticky rice and Jinxiang People praised the taste.
